Aftercare

Eyebrow Aftercare

Days 1-4 make sure to clean the procedure area 3 times daily as instructed below:

  • Gently apply 2 pumps of Blue/Green Foam Soap to brow’s and gently pat off with a soft, lint free gauze or paper towel. If you don’t have Blue/Green Foam soap gently pat with a damp lint free gauze or paper towel. Make sure to pat and NOT wipe. Let your brows air dry! 

  • Apply a very thin layer of Aquatat ointment and gently pat away any excess product. Do Not Oversaturate!

  • The first 2 nights change your pillowcases to reduce risk of infections.

  • If needed you may place an ice pack covered with a dry paper towel over your eyebrows for 10 mins. Wait at least 45 minutes before using an ice pack once again.

  • Make sure to keep the procedure area dry! Avoid getting sweat and water; no gyms, water, chlorine, saunas and avoid excessive sun exposure.

  • Do not apply topical makeup, touch, wipe or get hair on eyebrows.

  • Avoid blood thinners such as: alcoholic beverages, aspirin, vitamin E, and fish oil for 7 days. 

Days 5-7 

  • Continue cleaning brows twice daily with a damp gauze/paper towel or green foam soap and gently PAT dry.

  • Peeling will occur, make sure NOT to pick at them. AVOID PICKING it can cause scarring and color loss.

  • Once the brows stop peeling you'll notice your brows soften.

  • Make sure to use sunscreen to protect your eyebrows after the 7 days.

  • Keep your initial touch up! Touch ups and adjustments may be needed. Do not expect perfection after your initial appointment

Eyeliner Aftercare

  • Make sure to avoid any creams, mascaras, or any other products on the procedure area for 5 days.

  • The first 2 nights change your pillowcases to reduce risk of infections.

  • Gently pat with lightly dampened lint free gauze or paper towel then apply a thin layer or Grapeseed/coconut oil or aquatat/aquaphor with a clean winger or q-tip several times a day. Avoid allowing the eyeliner to dry or scab.

  • As well as Saline eye wash until the procedure area is fully healed, it will remove pigment.

  • Clean contacts may be worn 72 hours after the procedure.

  • Following the procedure, the area may be puffy for the first few mornings. A few options that may help/speed up healing are as follows: ice eyes often especially before bed and first thing in the morning, sleep somewhat propped up on your back, and avoid food high in sodium while the eyeliner heals. 


Lip Blushing Aftercare

Days 1-2

  • Place an ice pack in a dry paper towel and apply to lips for 10 minutes every morning and night, if needed repeat after 45 minutes every 3-4 hours.

  • Rinse with lukewarm water and gently pat dry with a soft paper towel or lint free gauze.

  • Apply a lip healing balm to keep lips moist.  DO NOT LET YOUR LIPS DRY!

Days 3-4

  • Clean with Blue/Green Foam Soap by gently massaging it for 30 seconds or gently rinse with lukewarm water.

  • Apply a lip healing bomb after each cleanse. Gently massage it into the area. If your lips get extremely dry you can use a thin layer of aquaphor.

  • Use alcohol free toothpaste and mouthwash.

  • Drink all beverages through a straw if possible and avoid hot drinks, as well as alcohol, spicy foods, acidic, salty and colored foods.

  • Avoid touching the area. Don't allow furry friends to lick or rub the procedure area.  

**Keep in mind that the area will be swollen for up to 3 days post-procedure and the color will be very bright/dark for the next few days.**


Days 5-7

  • Continue to cleanse the procedure area and apply healing lip balm after every cleanse.

  • After 5 days you may use regular toothpaste and mouthwash. 

  • After 10 days you may start applying sunscreen or a sunscreen lip balm to your lips.

  • Do not expect perfection after the initial procedure. Minor adjustments may be made during the touchup and are normal.



**Signs and symptoms of infection including, but not limited to, redness, swelling, tenderness, and oozing/drainage at the procedure site, as well as elevated temperature, indicate the need to seek medical care.**


**PLEASE NOTE: Healing is specific to each client. Color WILL fade/soften anywhere from 30-40%. At the time of your touchup procedure, we will perfect any areas that may not have retained as much pigment. This is why touch ups are CRITICAL.**
